Case No. FA-2015-7 NOTICE OF HEARING THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: STEVEN HOSTELLER An Application for an Order to Adopt without Consent and Terminating the Parental Rights of the Putative Father, having been filed on the 30th day of April, 2015, alleging that your consent is not necessary for the adoption of Asher Scott Baze, d.o.b. 04/08/07; and said Application is set for hearing on the 10th day of August, 2015, at the hour of 9:15 oclock, a.m., before the Honorable Judge Stephen Bonner, in the Cleveland County Courthouse, 200 S. Peters, Norman, Oklahoma 73069. The Petitioner alleges in his Application that your consent to the adoption of the minor child by the Petitioner is not required because for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months out of the last fourteen (14) months immediately preceding the filing of this Application you willfully failed, refused or neglected to contribute to the support of the minor child according to your financial ability to contribute to such minors support, 10 O.S. § 7505-4.2(B)(2); that you had specific and personal knowledge that this child was going to be born and when; yet you never made any attempt to exercise any parental rights or duties to the minor child, 10 O.S. § 7505-4.2D; and, that you willfully failed to establish and/or maintain a substantial and positive relationship with this minor child for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months out of the last fourteen (14) months immediately preceding the filing of a petition for adoption of the child, 10 O.S. § 7505-4.2(H)(1). Further, a Petition for Adoption of the same afore-referenced minor child, having been filed on the 20th day of January, 2015, and properly served via publication under order of the Court, is set for final adjudication on 10th day of August, 2015 at the hour of 9:30 oclock a.m., before the Honorable Judge Stephen Bonner, in Cleveland County Courthouse, 200 S. Peters, Norman, Oklahoma 73069. YOU ARE, THEREFORE, NOTIFIED THAT THE COURT WILL HEAR EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OF AND IN OPPOSITION TO THE GRANTING OF THE APPLICATION AND PETITION AT THE TIMES AND PLACE SHOWN ABOVE WHERE YOU WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE PRESENT, HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD AND HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT.
